The Boys of Naples As Nicolas celebrates his twentieth birthday, the three "bastards of the Empire" find themselves scattered to the four corners of a Europe struggling to find peace. Nicolas is wounded during the Italian campaign. He leaves to convalesce in Como, where he will find more than what he came for.
